About Us

Dünya Katılım Bankası A.Ş. was established in 1984 under the trade name Adabank A.Ş. and began its banking activities in 1985. The partnership rights, management, and supervision of Adabank A.Ş. were transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) on July 25, 2003. The 96.6% share owned by the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund was put up for sale through auction, and the sales process began following the publication of the auction notice in the Official Gazette. As a result of the auction, it was decided to transfer the shares of Adabank A.Ş. to AHL Ahlatcı Financial Management A.Ş. Upon application, the banking status of Adabank A.Ş. was evaluated by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency and was changed to a participation bank with the decision dated November 23, 2023, numbered 10729, which was published in the Official Gazette on November 28, 2023, numbered 32383.

As of December 26, 2023, Adabank A.Ş. continues its operations as Dünya Katılım Bankası A.Ş.

Ahlatcı Holding

Ahlatcı Holding operates in seven diverse sectors, including finance, foreign exchange, banking, precious metals, energy, defense industry, nanotechnology, health, automotive, and real estate. With 70 companies and more than 5000 employees, the holding is a significant player in the market. Two of its companies, Ahlatcı Doğal Gaz Dağıtım Enerji ve Yatırım A.Ş. and Enerya Enerji A.Ş., are publicly traded, with their shares listed on Borsa Istanbul. Your request will be processed free of charge as soon as possible and within a maximum of thirty (30) days. If your request requires additional costs, a fee may be charged according to the tariff determined by the Board.
